Good to know
Booking terms.
- 70% payment upfront secures your event date. Dates are not reserved or held without this payment.
- Prices cover hosting in Lagos. Other states and countries add travel and accommodation.
- Overtime beyond the agreed hours adds 20%, if The Corporate Emcee has no other booking.
- Call time up to 1 hour before the event starts is included. An earlier call time is billed separately, per extra hour.
- Every package covers one host. A co-host or any additional MC is quoted and billed separately.
- Rescheduling & additional fees: if you need to postpone your event, please notify us immediately so we can confirm availability for your preferred new date. If the postponement is requested within 30 days of your originally scheduled event date, an additional fee of 30% of the original full package price will apply to secure the new date, provided The Corporate Emcee is available.
- Availability & refunds: all postponements are subject to The Corporate Emcee's availability on the proposed new date. If The Corporate Emcee is unavailable on that date, payments already made are non-refundable.
- Cancellations aren't refunded, except on the death of a major stakeholder, when part of the fee is returned.
Where is The Corporate Emcee based? Does he travel?
The Corporate Emcee is based in Lagos and hosts across Nigeria and internationally. Travel outside Lagos is quoted separately.
How much does it cost to book an MC in Lagos?
It depends on the event, its length and the location. The Rates page shows starting prices; send your date for an exact quote.
Is a co-host included in the packages?
No. Every package covers The Corporate Emcee as your one host. If you need a co-host or another MC, that is quoted and billed separately.
What is call time, and when is it billed?
Call time is when The Corporate Emcee arrives for the sound check and final brief. Up to 1 hour before the event starts is included; an earlier call time is billed separately, per extra hour.
